Bowen Technique

The Bowen Technique is one of the most versatile and effective therapeutic treatments available today offering significant relief for many conditions. After taking a comprehensive case history and discussing your condition in detail, a treatment will consist of a series of gentle moves on skin or through light clothing, with the client usually lying on a bed or treatment couch, although it is possible to be treated seated.

A session usually results in a deep sense of relaxation helping the body to recharge and balance itself.

Chiropractic/McTimoney

Chiropractic may help relieve a number of problems, including:

  • Back pain

  • Neck and shoulder pain

  • Joint pain

  • Migraine

  • Neuralgia

  • Arthritic pain

  • Sports injuries

  • Sciatica

  • Muscular aches

Chiropractic is a way of adjusting the bones of your body to improve skeletal alignment. Realigning and re-balancing your body, in turn, may help to relieve pain and discomfort. This result of this may often be improvements in mobility.

Chiropractic is non-invasive - there is no surgical intervention or need for prescribed medication: chiropractors use their hands to make the adjustments.

McTimoney chiropractic is a precise, holistic, whole body method of chiropractic; suitable for babies, children, adults and animals. It was developed by the late John McTimoney over 50 years ago. The gentle nature of the McTimoney Method of chiropractic makes it suitable for people of all ages. Our therapist Wendy Johnson treats patients ranging from 18 months old to 93 years of age, including expectant mothers.

Colonic Irrigation/ Colon Hydrotherapy

Colonic Irrigation, also referred to as Colon Hydrotherapy, is a well-established, complementary health procedure that involves gently flushing the colon with warm, filtered water. This treatment aims to promote digestive health by helping to remove (old) waste material, gas and toxins to support regular bowel function. It may be particularly beneficial for those experiencing bloating, constipation, IBS, skin conditions or general sluggishness, although it is important to note that results may vary based on individual health conditions and sometimes requires more then one session. During a typical session, Steph a trained RICTAT therapist uses specialised equipment to introduce warm, purified water into the colon, helping to soften and release waste. The procedure is conducted in a comfortable, hygienic setting, ensuring client safety and dignity throughout.

Please feel free to call or email me if you feel you’d like some more information regarding the treatment I'm happy to help.

I also offer food Intolerance and gut microbiom testing.
